Veronica is a Licensed Master Social Worker who works with teens, young adults, and adults who may be navigating ADHD, neurodivergence, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck and unsure of what comes next. She believes therapy should be a space where clients feel comfortable being their authentic selves—without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.
Veronica's approach to therapy is relational, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. She primarily draws from Psychodynamic Therapy and Motivational Interviewing (MI), while incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic approaches. She tailors therapy to each individual, recognizing that there is no single approach that works for everyone.
With experience across community, school, and hospital-based settings, Veronica takes an ecological perspective that honors the ways relationships, environments, and broader systems can shape emotional well-being.
Veronica recognizes that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and she works to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. Together, she and her clients explore patterns, build on existing strengths, develop new ways of coping, and work toward greater self-understanding and meaningful change.
Veronica holds a B.S. in Sociology (2021) and Master of Social Work from University at Albany (2024).
